This is a brand new colourway that has just been made in our workshop called Peat as part of the Orkney View collection, this rollneck sweater with curled trimmed cuffs and welt, reflects the colours and textures of Orkneys sandy pebble beaches such as in the picture shown here that was taken in South Ronaldsay. It is knitted in a luxurious soft mix of Scottish lambswool, Italian mousse, merino and cashmere yarns. The yarns are twisted together which makes each garment unique with slightly different variations of un-dulating colours and textures and very soft to wear. 
and each piece is shaped by hand on a small domestic knitting machine then sewn together and finished by hand. When you buy a garment from Judith you are truly buying an item that has been painstakingly made in a home and not mass manufactured. 
We do carry some Orkney knitwear stock but if the piece you choose is not in stock when you order we will contact you and make one up especially for you which may take up to 5 weeks.
